Sarah Stepanik

Performing Art – Baltimore

I started playing classical violin when I was 8, then started dance and voice when I turned 10. Later on when I turned 17 I learned belly dance then switched to playing fiddle when I was 18. I went to Peabody Prep for 7 years for multiple musical disciplines. After I graduated high school I went to community college for 3 years then decided it wasn\'t for me. I felt that focusing on music alone was a much better way to get my career going. I\'m currently in five bands: Pirates for Sail - Traditional pirate folk music The Brothers Strum - Traditional Irish folk music Hardcore Whaler - Bawdy pirate folk duo Sekengard - World fusion folk metal I also do many solo performances and session work. I\'m always looking for more projects.
