Stefania is a fine artist and jewelry maker from Westport, CT and has lived in and gathered inspiration from various locations around the world.
In her sculpture Stefania likes to combine rigid building materials, like glass or brick, with softer forms in order to point to industry versus domesticity and construction versus organic growth. She conjures these themes while questioning traditional gender roles.
Stefania also creates wearable sculpture on a small scale in the form of jewelry. She likes to use found or recycled materials, like clock gears and brass bars, to give them a new life and question consumerism.
