Stephanie Orr

The purpose of my artwork is to convey ideas of identity through familial expressions and make a strong connection between the events and circumstances of the past with the present day. My work interacts with the audience and allows the artwork to function beyond personal boundaries and become something that is relatable. The ties between the past and the present are intriguing and I focus on the exploration of these through ceramics, textiles, photography, and other mixed media.
