Summer In Siberia

Music – Spokane

Summer in Siberia started as a solo side project in 2005 by Justin Hynes, and was brought back to life when Brad Perry and Alex Brandt joined the band in 2011. The band started off without a hitch, but dark clouds grew over head when their drummer, Super Nintendo, began to let the stage life corrupt his moral values. SNES constantly quit the band right before shows and drank excessively. The band grew weary and eventually buried SNES alive. Luckily, in 2012 they found an upstanding and reliable drummer in Ryan. Summer in Siberia relies on the influence of their favorite bands and genres to create an interesting sound. Their love for classic video game music, 80\'s pop, and 90\'s alternative rock fuel the mutated sound baby that defines their style. After decades of mixing and mastering, the band released their first self-titled album in early 2012 and put it online at the amazing price point of \"whatever you want.\" The album can be found at: They love local and independently produced music and do their best to support the scene. Summer in Siberia has also gained the reputation from their 2 fans of being modest and very involved with the few people who enjoy their music. They love hanging out at shows and communicating with music lovers over facebook. They reside in Spokane, Washington where they continue to write, record, and play shows to their fans Ted and Rick.
