T’alia, born on March 19, 1993 as Tashara Scotland, is a Pop/R&b artist from Miami, Fl. She started singing at the early age of 5 years old in her church choir. Her biggest influences are Toni Braxton, Aaliyah, Monica, Beyonce and Usher. T’alia’s purpose as an artist is to share her story, her mistakes and situations with everyone, so that listeners can learn and not make the same decisions she did. Her powerful and resonant voice can both motivate and uplift leaving you in the most impassioned meditation.
Growing up amongst others who shared the same passion, T’alia had the ability to start her music career. She has performed with Kurt Carr, Richard Smallwood, Cece Winans and various recording artists in Miami. She showcases her talent at numerous open-mics and karaoke bars. In addition, to engaging in her musical talents, she also explored acting and modeling. Releasing her first original piece September 5th, 2014, via soundcloud and her huge following on instagram, T’alia created her buzz.
