The Sand Gallery

Founded in late 2015 by Milly Vanderwood, The S.A.N.D. Gallery (which stands for Sell Art, Not Drugs) is dedicated to creating a more positive, more open-minded outlook to the city of Baltimore. In the recent Baltimore Sun's Fall Art Guide, Mr. Vanderwood was quoted as saying, "There are a lot of artists who just don't get that shot, or chance to shine. That's what our mission is, in terms of helping the city". The gallery displays work from over 40 artists, and frequently hosts open-mic nights, sip and paint events, parties, and has a creative space where local artists of every experience level can come to learn, teach, and colaborate with other creatives.
