Visual Art – Austin

I have been drawing since I was a kid. Always did portraits, too. I idn\'t understand why until I got a little older and realized that I have a fascination for peoples faces. I started to recognize my intuitiveness and perceptiveness. I can feel people\'s energy and really do believe that the eyes are the windows to the soul. I can see a face and feel someone\'s emotion, which flows through me and out of my hands and through my fingers onto paper. It\'s a beautiful thing. A lot of folks say that my pieces make them feel things as well which I think is amazing and appropriate. My parents really wanted me to go to college so I went to art school because it was the only thing I could think of that I was interested in. I think I maybe started to actually develop my craft a little bit in school, however, it didn\'t really start to blossom until I moved to Austin and surrounded myself with other artist communities. That\'s when I realized that I actually had a product so I\'ve stuck with my skill and I believe I have only gotten better.
