Them Hounds

Them Hounds is a blues/psych/hard rock outfit from Oklahoma City. The four-piece group assembled in August of 2011. Each member brings unique elements from all styles of music to combine everything from blues to jazz to hard rock as they create a timeless, vintage atmosphere. Like a cigarette after a shot of whiskey, Them Hounds satisfies the most particular of musical cravings. Lead vocalist Erin Ames creates captivating melodies accented perfectly by crisp, flawless harmonies all the while paying homage to the gritty soul of heavy 70\'s rock and roll. Guitarist Ben Ward expertly crafts meticulous, mesmerizing solos that mirror Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Bassist Jon Bohlen sets the mood with a powerful groove, and drummer Mike Cougill pounds out technical, rugged beats. Big things are in store for these four friends following the release of their debut full-length album due out Winter 2013.
