Performing Art – Indianapolis

Born and raised (technically) in Indianapolis. Introduced to the open mic realm in 2006, and the spoken word realm in 2010. Theon Lee has performed in Detroit (more than 5 venues in one week), Chicago (Maryam Mosque), Dayton (Lyrically Speaking, Poetry In Motion, and Utterance Poetry), Cincinnati (Queen City Slam), Flint (Flint 500, Juneteenth Celebration, and Food4Thougt), Ball State University, Earlham University,Arts Garden x2, and Circle City Experiment II. Theon\'s mission is to give voices, what ever those voices may entail. First, starting with the unseen life and mentality of the black community, now narrowing in on social justice and the importance of art in humanity.
