Rosa Chung and Chris Law

Visual Art – San Jose

We are both nature fanatics and science advocates. Chris has studied the circadian (sleep) rhythms of soldier crabs in Australia, the burrowing mechanisms of polychaete worms from the coasts of California, and is now a graduate student studying the dietary ecology of sea otters in Santa Cruz. Rosa has researched alpine plant ecology in the White Mountains of California, prickly pear cactus restoration strategies for the San Diego Coastal Cactus Wren, and burrowing behaviors of ground squirrels for burrowing owl restoration. Our works are an amalgamation of personal experiences and imagination. Each minimalist animal/plant is designed by us and each wall art piece is hand drawn. We choose environmentally-friendly options for our art because we believe that when we do, we are participating in a global effort for a sustainable future.
