Thomas Scharfenberg

Included in Westwords \"10 artists to watch in 2013,\" Thomas Scharfenberg was born and lives in Denver, Colorado. He holds a BFA from Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (2007) and is currently a resident creative at Wazee Union, where he makes, regularly shows his work and helps organize exhibitions and events. 2012 projects ranged from outdoor mural paintings to light-based and electronic multimedia group performance installations, such as \"Rock Paper Projector.\" Solo installations included “Object(z) Window(z)” and “Parallels Dark” both at Steel Wool Gallery, Denver. Fall 2011 featured a solo exhibition \"Obvious Invisible\" at Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, Boulder Colorado. Additionally, he works part time at and is genuinely influenced by a wholesale greenhouse.
