Visual Art – Milwaukee

Tracy Rolkosky is a visual artist with a strong fascination for all things nostalgic. Her works juxtapose the modern world and an idealistic past. Influenced by both personal and public, she invites the viewer into her experience of reality. In her two-dimensional based studio investigations she explores various approaches to mediate the time between the present and the past through the acts of both large and small scale painting, photography, and digital manipulation. Her work has been featured in group and juried exhibitions through out the Midwest. She has received a scholarship from the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and various local commissions. In 2013, she received her BFA with a focus in Painting and Drawing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Tracy continues to work as an exhibiting artist, residing in Milwaukee, WI.
