I started as an artist who only made art for myself, which I shielded and showed to no one. It became such an expressive outlet for myself that I felt I had to share it, and in doing so, I learned that people found stories and meanings out of the way I choose to showcase these figures and animals. People chose to see themselves in something that looked nothing like them. Now drawing has become so important to me in a different way, I want to connect.
