As enduring as their harmonies, Urban Twang brings together a fusion of eclectic acoustic sound to create their sonorous songs. Shades of folk, alt-country, Americana, and roots music come together through the potent vocals of Trish Clausen, Laura Glyda, and Sarah Barlett. Their gorgeous three-part blend, cemented through the instrumental stylings of Max Twang, soar on the newly released “2012” EP.
Founded by Trish and Max, the band has been producing their brand of acoustic, alt-country music now for over 2 decades. Through varied line- ups, Urban Twang has released three albums (“Nothing You Can Do”,
“Go Call Delia”, and “Vintage”), gaining a fan base that has amassed a following as indiscriminate as the music produced. With the addition
of Laura and Sarah, the band has found a new sound—filtered through years of experience—heightened by the youth and spirit present by their newest members.
With a resume that boasts opening for nationally touring acts, tracks appearing on feature films, and numerous performances for radio and Television... Urban Twang is once again corralling a new generation of fans to enjoy their music.
