Vanessa Aves

I just received a Master of Fine Art from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art in Philadelphia. Working with a wide array of mediums, my favorites include graphite, charcoal, pastel, ink, watercolor, acrylic and oil paint. I enjoy a wide range of subject matter, using compositions that range from abstract to representational, and everything in between. I mix illustration and fine art together to create my own unique style. Besides writing and publishing my autobiography, Pendulum, I currently work independently. My present work is an intuitive process of form, color and line. I have taught and offered private lessons for the past seven years in Colorado. My future endeavors include writing a second book and returning back to school to receive certification as an Art Therapist.
