Vera Malitskaya

Vera Malitskaya is a Russian artist, born in 1989 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. In 2004 Vera entered the Republican Art College in Tashkent and successfully graduated in 2007. In 2009 Vera started her education at the National Institute of Art and Design in Tashkent. In 2012 Vera moved to Ajax. In February 2013 she participated in the “Mixed Art and Music” exhibition at the Gladstone hotel, Toronto, alongside some other outstanding artists and musicians. In November 2014 she participated in the “Colour of Life” exhibition at the Cultural Expressions Art Gallery in Ajax. In February 2015 she had a mini solo exhibition at Stevenson Farm B&B. Around the same time she had a chance to collaborate with amazing photographer Stephen Milne and create a series of collaborative photography based artworks which were on display at the “Dark Room 4.0” show at the Gallery 918 in April 2015. Recently Vera participated in ETA Awards #ThrivingArtist Pre-Show and as a result of the public voting she will be a part of Art At The Palais 2 show in October! Vera’s work can be found in the Cultural Expressions Art Gallery, Artisans At Work Gallery and many private collections. She currently lives and works in Ajax, ON.
