Beauty – Los Angeles

Carolina Hernandez was born and raised in the colorful country of Mexico. In 2005 she enlisted in the US NAVY and served on active duty for four years deploying to Middle East and South America enduring freedom. ​ In 2009 she got honorably discharged from the military service and enrolled in the Fashion Photographic Make up course at Cinema Make up School where she won first place during her final class competition. ​ Upon graduation she continued increasing her knowledge and took make up courses at MAC, advanced body paint classes at European Body Art studio in Costa Mesa and private special effects courses at Michael Stock FX Inc. During her creative experience she has participated at San Diego Comic con 2013, The Zombie Walk Long Beach 2011, 2013 & 2015, Local Art shows and Day of the Dead in Canoga Park 2015 and worked as freelance make up artist for Channel 62 (Estrella TV) where she incorporated body paint with airbrush, special effects and hairstyling.​ ​ She graduated from The Art Institute of CA-SD in 2014 with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, which increased her creative knowledge and her innovation when combining principles of design and craftsmanship skills. ​ In 2016 she had the opportunity to represent Cinema Make Up School and teach the airbrush and hair styling program at The Beijing Contemporary Music Academy in China. ​​ Now she works as freelance Make up artist for editorial photo shoots, Music videos, TV shows and also teaches airbrush body painting classes on a one on one basis.
