After a master and career in management and marketing, she returned to her roots: painting. Style: contemporary art Technique: mix media Contemporary art that translates the traditional. The works of the French artist Virginie Pauillac, is full of strength, light, and dynamic works. She opens the doors to a magical place (Myanmar, Andalucia, ...) where traditions, art, and culture are a universal symbol. "For me, the traditions and their transmission are an essential part of the human identity" expresses the artist. In the modern world, where the majority of things are disposable, we have to focus on the importance of who we are and where we come from to understand and maintain our essence. This is the objective of her work (painting and ceramics) especially with her tribute to Andalucía (2015) , and with it, here is where we join the character of the earth full of roots so special and unique that it reminds us of the beauty and the significance of the wonders which we have created as a civilization. In tribute to Myanmar (2013), the artist, with wide and pronounced brushstrokes on her canvases, captures the magical scenes, which for her evoke "a fairy tale". Both worldly and spiritual mix of Burma, make her paintings a faithful portrait of the inspiration for the East life that many years remained secret, allowing the spectator to experience the wonderful creations of the human being which are derived from their arduous work and at the same time are driven by the tireless intention of approaching the spiritual and magical world of their ideology. Those landscapes and portraits, inspired by a trip that the artist made to these lands, were created in her return between 2012 and 2013. "The world changes extremely fast, every day, tradition is timeless and has the power to hold time still." V.Pauillac
