Visual Art – Columbus

Kasey Winterbotham is an Athens based artist. She received her Bachelor of Art in Art History and Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati in 2005. Here, she specialized in oil painting, photography, bronze casting and the study of Japanese and Chinese art. Following the completion of her bachelors degree, Kasey then attended Graduate School at Ohio University where she continued her studies in Art History with an emphasis in Gender and Performance Studies. Beginning in 2009, Kasey worked professionally as a Production artist and a Resident Artist at Passion Works Studio. Here, she works collaboratively with other artists with and without disabilities in variety of media including, but not limited to, painting, photography, cinematography, printmaking, sculpture, and installation arts. When not collaborating with other artists, Kasey creates her own work in a variety of media including oil painting, acrylic painting, oil pastel, photography, collage, and monotypes.
