Catherine Nordloh is known for pushing the envelope and it definitely shows in her innovative use of reclaimed and organic materials when designing jewelry. She began working with metal over 15 years ago while attending school in Michigan. During this time Catherine developed a strong appreciation for structural design, organic materials, reclaimed elements, and the surprising & unexpected beauty that came from combining these elements. Since then her rediscovery of discarded materials, which were not initially intended for personal adornment, has culminated into gorgeous one-of-a-kind jewelry and ready-to-wear fashion statements. Through Catherine’s passion for environmental awareness, impeccable fashion, and her love of innovative design techniques came the unexpected jewelry & multi-media creative company known simply as All Things Esque. Catherine currently lives and works in Chicago, with her husband and harlequin great dane. She believes that everyday is an adventure filled with new discoveries and implicit beauty.
