Yancey J. Quick is a Cosmetologist/ Barber, a Hair and Makeup Designer, and Wig Master who lives and works in Salt Lake City, Utah. You can find him doing hair at his studio, located at 363S 500E in Downtown Salt Lake.
Currently, Yancey is the resident Wig Master for Ballet West and the Wig and Makeup Designer for Utah Opera\'s 2012-13 season. Yancey is also the Hair and Makeup Designer for The Grand Theatre. He has had the privleage of working for The Tony Award Winning Utah Shakespeare Festival, Utah Symphony, Pioneer Theatre Company , Utah Festival Opera, and the Utah Lyric Opera Ensemble. Yancey is a proud member of IATSE Local 99, the union of professional stagehands, motion picture technicans, and allied crafts.
In addition to being a Cosmetologist he is also a Licensed Instructor. He is an Advisor for Joico International, a global professional haircare company. Yancey trains with Joico\'s International Artistic Directors, and other Guest Artists each year, studying and executing the latest trends in cut and color. In addition to working at local hairshows, he has the pleasure of educating other hairdressers and students abouth the features and benefits of the brand.
