Visual Art – Salt Lake City

I cannot think of a time when art has been absent from my life. In second grade, my teacher suggested that my parents enroll me in private art lessons. During my youth, I was able to study and paint with many local artists.  I grew up outside of Brigham City, Utah. This has inspired my landscape paintings. I also enjoy painting portraits and working with the human structure. Each Sunday, I post a portrait on my social media accounts. I appreciate tight, realism pieces and on the other hand, I love impressionistic paintings. In my own work, I can see a hybrid of these elements. I am currently pursuing an architecture degree with a minor in fine arts at the University of Utah. My other hobbies include skiing, dirt biking, and jewelry making.
