I am a self taught, AND certified makeup artist.I started playing with makeup when I was a junior in high school, and it took me a while to get gain the courage to go for makeup school. I went to school for special effects makeup for about 2 and a half years; and half way in realized I liked doing things my own way better. But I wanted to graduate and get my degree as well, so I pushed on. School was important, but doing what YOU WANT to do is more important to me than doing something that makes you unhappy.
