hailing from st. louis, missouri, renee is no stranger to the beauty business. growing up a competitive dancer, renee was surrounded by costuming, hairstyling, and makeup leading her to recognize her calling to the beauty industry at a young age. it wasn’t long before her innate talent became evident and caught attention of those around her.
equipped with a rigorously diverse education, renee pursued academia, receiving her bachelors at missouri state university and following, a cosmetology education at the salon professional academy. her inner urbanite and desire to work among the best brought her to dc in 2013.
since joining the beauty industry, renee honed her craft under the mentorship and education of industry greats. “the team at one80 is the best i’ve seen and inherently i want to be around people who inspire me and feel as passionately about a professional career in the beauty industry as myself,” she says.
