HAPPINESS = The smell of a fresh canvas + The FREEDOM to CREATE! I worked in the fashion industry in NYC for 10 years then stopped it all to have a family. After 10 years of being together, I married my college love and was pregnant with twin girls two weeks after our wedding. As a new stay at home mom I was in need of a new creative outlet & began painting in 2010. From the moment I smelled my first blank canvas I was in love! I wanted to paint my whole life but thought I needed classes to learn how first. Becoming a mother and having the freedom to cultivate my creative side facilitated my growth spiritually as well. I thank my husband for the best gift of my life!... FREEDOM to dive into myself & explore! Painting and making art with my twin girls, Sofie and Olivia, led to a career change as well. I am currently enrolled in classes to become an elementary school art teacher. Art has always been there, inside me, waiting to come out. I\'m thankful for the opportunity to express it & encourage others to ALWAYS follow your heart... Make it happen!
