Alexander Huntley

I was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, and have spent the majority of my life in a naturally and culturally rich environment. The arts have always been very prominent in my life at home, at school, and with my friends. There has not been one form of art that I have put my hands on and not enjoyed it. I love learning about new ways to express ideas and messages, but I have found myself gravitating towards drawing and painting the most. Most of my work is rich in colour, and natural beauty. My work explores a lot of the human body, more often the male body, playing with masculine and feminine components to juxtapose or blend. A common theme in most of my work is the representation of inner beauty shining alongside one's outer beauty.
