Alexandra Lederman

I am an artist from Sydney, living in Melbourne. I recently graduated from a Bachelor of Art Theory at the College of Fine Arts, Sydney. I have had 4 exhibitions this year in Sydney, including two solo shows. My art making practice involves a personal style and process, which, I then experiment with through different artistic mediums. These have included, painting, drawing, installation, street-art and live painting. I have also done commission work for venues. My work commonly begins with a controlled, circular form, which I then use as a basis for creating small \'worlds\', which put my subconscious thoughts into something visual. As no piece is planned, viewers and myself, always recognise something different within each work. The worlds which I put onto the street for public viewing aim to take people out of their everyday routine and transfer them into another world, even if just for a minute.
