Alison Jerry

I am a small town girl with a BFA from Syracuse University, who went on to become a very successful commercial artist. I had my own studio in NYC for several years and went on to work with major corporations. My latest quest has been to dive into the fine art world. I have been humbled by the enthusiasm I have been getting on my latest work. I have won 2 awards with Minted.com, had an art piece displayed at The Cleveland Art Musuem and SPACES Gallery. All of these art pieces show my love for photography, photoshop, & illustration/textures. I will often make textures from oils, scan in, then cut and paste to use as backgrounds and or shapes.I appreciate how color and form can set the tone of mystery, playfulness, and purpose. I often reflect on places I have been, movies I have seen, music I listen to, and or something I have seen in passing. Some of my photos were shot in places like London, NYC, China, California, & Santa Fe, NM.
