Visual Art – Boston

I was always \"the floater\", never had a set group of friends or a \"clique\". I had friends in all places, all shapes and sizes and traveled all around the world meeting them. The world is too big to have just a couple of friends, just like a painting is too big to only use a couple of paint brushes. My love of art has expanded over the past 4 years. I have grown from using oil, to acrylic, to bringing a whole new meaning to the media of spray paint. When I paint, my mind wanders to places I didn\'t even know existed. I believe that my life should be experienced that same way, wandering and seeing where the next turn will take me. Which is how I approach my art. I never spend time working out sketches. I never kept a sketchbook for my art classes (which drove my professors crazy), but I found that my best art came from the spontaneous act of simply doing, not thinking. I spend so much other parts of my life overthinking and stressing, but as soon as I see a blank canvas in front of my face and paint right next to me, I don\'t think, I simply do.
