Ambrosia Carey recently appeared in American Salon Magazine and was named Top 20 Influencer in the industry with LaunchPad magazine.
A successful hairstylist in Oregon's Portland market for over 15 years, session styling for 11, she's represented her community and city with some of the best in the industry. Sharing the stage with the elite Intercoiffure traveling teams both on stage, mentoring, and assist teaching has contributed to her growth immensely. She's inspired by people more than objects because of the passion behind the creator. Jo Blackwell-Preston, Sonya Dove, Vivienne Mackinder, and Candy Shaw-Codner have personally impacted Ambrosia in the way they lead with their heart and steer with their mind.
Today, she is co-owner of Au Salon and balances running a business, spending time behind the chair, interacting with her social followers, and most important leading an apprenticeship she designed. "In my salon I've formed an advanced education course for hairstylists called FABLAB. I constantly strive for further growth within the industry and collaborating with like-minded artists to create a supportive community."
