Photography – Boise

\"I grow the Nightshade, I tend the Hemlock stalks, I wait in black for Darkness to bloom. I am the collector, of aging cameras that by and by capture the imprints of the dead. My heart is tired, weary and worn, and I seek solace in the arms of the voodoo dolls from a by gone bayou witch. I will always and forever be dancing with the corpses in the marble mausoleum.\" Analisa Ravella, a native of San Francisco and a 3rd generation Italian, has been a photographer for more than twenty years. She is a part-time filmmaker, and counts voodoo and cat-wrangling among her skills. Her art is heavily influenced by classical literature and history. \"Photography allows me to explore colors, which are often absent in my life.\" www.AnalisaRavella.com
