Angle Dust

In 2011, Cigdem Paçal ditched her corporate job as an art director in Istanbul in order to pursue her passion for jewelry design. Equipped with a fierce drive to succeed and the skills she gained from her nine-to-five, she packed a single suitcase and moved to the fashion epicenter of the world: New York City. There, she enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Technology, and after graduating with an Applied Science degree in Jewelry Design, she began promoting her first line in which she solely designed, manufactured, and marketed. The collection, titled Angle Dust, consisted of geometric inspired plexiglass accessories and was retailed in Paris, New York, Beijing, and her hometown Istanbul. Today, Cigdem has completed her first fine jewelry line simply titled Paçal. She incorporates ultramodern 3D modeling with traditional hands-on methods. Her collection consists of 14-karat yellow, rose, and white gold; tastefully ornamented with diamonds. Her unique casting technique defies typical casting\'s thinness limits, she\'s able to give each piece a deceptively lighter feeling yet bolder look.
