I am an illustrator based in Orange County and a recent graduate from California State University Fullerton. I’ve been drawing ever since I was kid, but didn’t start creating art professionally until 5 years ago. Growing up, I watched a lot of anime (Japanese cartoons), so a lot of my work reflects the anime aesthetic - big eyes, small nose, and small mouth. Going to university, however, I was told to avoid the anime style, so I spent those 5 years trying to mask the style I loved drawing the most. Regardless of this, I’ve been fortunate enough to be surrounded by supportive friends and fellow artists that helped me to grow and realize, that it is important to draw what you love. Because of them, I’ve been able to dedicate my time after to university to inventing a style that I love and appeals to the general public.
