Visual Art – Dallas - Fort Worth

The seed to creativity was planted in me before I can remember. My mom would tell stories of how my dad would sit with me and draw for hours. I do recall enjoying cartoons and cereal on Saturday mornings, but never drawing. After he died, I began to draw everyday. I believe art is the imitation of life and it's what you make it. From combining acrylic and oil on canvas to combining graphite and charcoal on paper I tell a story using life, my artistic ability and animation as influences. Occasionally, referring to the arts of Andrea Vasgaard, Jean Michel Basquiat, KAWS, Cleo Boone, John Biggers, Canvasbully, Ebony lewis, and Adrian Mcmillion. I set the mood by turning on Hip Hop, Jazz or Gospel music and allow my creativity and life experiences to become acquainted. The brushes and paints come together like lovers on a romantic date, dancing cohesively in an artistic harmony. I enjoy making art and I strive to get better at it.
