Visual Art – Houston
I\'m a self-taught artist, born and raised in Houston, Texas. I have three siblings, loving parents, and an adorable pet named Tigris. I originally took pre-requiste classes at Sam Houston then transferred to nursing student at HBU in 2003. I was torn between 2 worlds, loved nursing school, but I couldn\'t stop taking elective art classes. Life had a different purpose for me. I stopped school after being in an auto accident that left me in a wheelchair,n so much pain for a long time and so depressed. Good doctors, medicine, phy therapy, and also art therapy is what brought me to back to life and it got better I recovered just didn\'t know my purpose. After my first exhibit at a church in 2009, I realized that was my gift. Craved for more, and started participating in art exhibits at a bar/club to War\'Hous to Zen Art Space(currently). My goals are to be on cover of an art magazine, do art tours nationwide, and eventually the world. Not many can do what I do, beautiful illustrations with the art melody of oil paints, and pastels, that provides speed drying time, but yet has that quality look oil brings.
