Brandon Borjon

Brandon Borjon is an emerging contemporary pop surrealist artist currently working from his home in Roseville, California. Imbuing his vision with rich symbolism, complex narratives and stylized fantasies, his works illustrate an expressive interplay of diverse worlds, concepts, and emotions that resonate within the mind of the viewer. Searching for the various basics of the human experience, Borjon continues to reflect elements of playfulness and spontaneity. He pays tribute to a number of 20th century pop artists such as Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol as well as pop surrealist \"lowbrow\" artists of the 1980s like Mark Ryden, clearly demonstrating his ability to create a contemporary blend of past and present movements. Straddling the physical and metaphysical, stylized and realistic, lowbrow and fine art, Borjon uses an amalgam of pop culture influences to forge an aesthetic language of his own making.
