Carlos Fernando Sosa is a local L.A. artist, who was born in Colombia, lived in Paris, France for a few years, New York and New Jersey. Back east is where he discovered his passion for “the city” and all that it had offered. Intrigued by New York’s bridges and clever historic structures, he was immediately drawn to the idea of art and architecture.
Moving to California in 2001, a new realm of beauty through nature was gained. From the hush deserts, luring mountains, to the boundless beaches, his eye for detail and color began to settle. Being aware of his surroundings, became more expansive then ever.
After working in the corporate world for some time, he realized he didn’t want to be a robot or be disengaged to what was truly meaningful. He took a leap of faith to follow his true passion, live his dream and pursue what is in his heart and soul. What he was really meant to do, CREATE. Adventures, traveling, living, breathing allows him to thrive, staying true to himself. He does not use brushes, he believes in using all accessible resources and finds the honor in each and every bit of it. Inspiration is everywhere. Creativity drives him to share in the human condition and interact with fellow human beings as all senses are awakened. When you see his art he wants you to have an experience. He hopes his art 'Speaks" to you. He is honored to perform"Live Art" and create an interactive experience with his audience. He is very appreciative of being alive and sharing his passion with the world. He does not take anything for granted and considers himself blessed for being able to create. His motto 1 LOVE.
