Ashley Jade is a solitary green witch currently based in Seattle, WA. Her soul language is expressed through contemporary movement, floral and botanical design, conceptual styling, and poetry. Her movement practice is grounded in the internal paranormal rhythm. Unfiltered with the sensual flow of her body water. She is most intrigued by self-exploration through improvisation and intricate floor work.
Ashley Jade earned her BFA in Dance Performance from The Boston Conservatory in 2014. During her studies, she had the privilege of performing in works by José Limón, Tommy Neblett, Twyla Tharp, Robert Moses, Francesca Harper, among others. Upon graduating, she moved to Mazatlán, Mexico where she pursued a company residency with Delfos Danza Contemporanea. Ashley Jade is the Founder and Artistic Director of internationally recognized, multi-media collective, THE JADE PLOT. Her choreographic works have been presented at The Boston Conservatory, the Mazatlán Professional School of Dance, and the Shooting Gallery Performance Series in Vancouver, British Columbia.
