Astral Chrysalis Designs is the lovechild of Azalyne Skye & Aurelius Rune. We create original art, laser engraved, filigree, wearable leather clothing and accessories. Our art is created with our hands, in our home art studio on an enchanted mountain top in Aptos, CA. We infuse each piece with love, intention, integrity and magic. All pieces are original works of art and original patterns created from our wild visionary imaginations. We\'ve created custom pieces for an Indy Film in NY, National Theatre Productions and even had one of our first hats purchased by ABC\'s Once Upon a Time. Our current line includes several styles of Men and Women\'s Hats, Men\'s Corvidae Modular Holster/Hip Belt, Women\'s Chrysalis Modular Holster/Hip Belt, Astral Firebird Le Fay Skirt, Astral Firebird Phoenix Vest and many other unique designs. The Astral Firebird pieces feature the stunningly gorgeous hand dyed, burnt edge silks of Noelle Faulkner of Firebird Faerie Couture. Burnt Leather and burnt silk are unmistakably true lovers! We believe collaboration upholds the artist community and we strive to support other artists we admire, like our friend Noelle. We\'ve been in business since 2011, originally known as, \"Feathery Leathery\", with humble beginnings as leather mask makers. We met and fell in love at the Faerieworld\'s Festival in Eugene OR, soon after we began creating together. It has been a great blessing to share our art with the world. Lastly, we\'re extremely proud to be able to model being successful working artists for our 3 young boys.
