RAWard Season:
The local community will be asked to cast a live vote at the Semi-Finals Showcase. The community popular vote will consist of 50% and the scores of three local judges will consist of the other 50%.Scores and votes will be tallied that evening and announced live at the end of the showcase.

What is RAW?
RAW:natural born artists is an independent arts organization that hand-selects and spotlights independent creatives in visual art, film, fashion, music, hair & makeup artistry, photography, models and performing art.
RAW's mission is to provide up-and-coming artists of all creative realms with the tools, resources and exposure needed to inspire and cultivate creativity so that they might be seen, heard and loved. RAW educates, connects and exposes emerging artists in 54 artistic communities across the United States and Australia, through monthly showcase events. Join us in celebrating the work of these artists.
What is RAWards?
Every year RAW hosts a national competition that engages our entire community and the nation at large. The competition runs from October-December and consists of an online vote, a RAW Director's score, a semi-finals showcase with local judges and an attendee vote and a final national judges score to determine the winner. Winners are honored in Los Angeles in January and receive big career boosting prizes.
If you are attending a RAWards Semi-Finals event you will be asked to contribute your vote. You'll receive 9 votes one for each category, it is your job to look and listen and choose your favorite. A local panel of judges will also contribute their scores.
The winner in each category (Film, Fashion, Music, Art, Performing Art, Hair, Makeup, Accessories and Photography), will be deemed the artist of the year for their city.These local winners will go on to represent their city in the final round and be viewed and scored by our National RAWards Judges. What Can I Expect?
RAW events are multi-faceted artistic showcases. Each event features a film screening, musical performance, fashion show, art gallery, performance art and a featured hairstylist and makeup artist. These artists are all local, hand-picked talent who have been chosen to feature at RAW.
RAW events feature a cash bar for cocktails while you enjoy the night. Dress code is cocktail attire, so dress the occasion and get ready for an artistic circus of creativity!
