Visual Art – Denver

As far as I remember, I have found joy in drawing and creating. In fact, my christmas wish-list was always easy: pencils and paper. As a child, I was thrilled to teach myself new tricks and techniques. My earliest teacher were Pappy from Pappyland and of course, Bob Ross. It wasn\'t until college that I learned my love for art could be used to serve other and support myself simultaneously. Now as a working designer, I get to explore new means of creation all the time. From using my hand-skills to develop a unique logo or exploring art-history to inform a new brand identity, I never stop learning. It is my job to help other creatives bring their ideas to life. My current personal work is inspired heavily by design from the 1920s-1940s. Elements of Art Deco, Art Nouveau, and Futurism are sprinkled throughout my work with contemporary elements. Poster art from this time has impacted me greatly and I enjoy exploring similar themes, color palettes and elements as the artists from this time.
