Visual Art – Nashville

My art is an extension of me, of my passion for life, and those who inspire me, past or present. I feel like the pop art style best expresses how I tend to see other people or objects, not as “things” but as inspirations, as movements, and as icons. I prefer to paint images or icons of the present though. Everyone paints their Johnny Cashs, Marylin Monroes, etc. I prefer to paint subjects that are relevant now, people who are inspiring today, for tomorrow. Another of my goals is to make art and artists cool again, not just the perceived introvert, quiet type, lonely, depressed. But as someone that’s hyped about everything, ready to rock, and doesn’t want to waste a precious second.
