Hello! My gravitation towards fashion and costume design stems from a visit I had in third grade to a designers atelier. I was thrilled to see the artist sketch the gown, but what was most rewarding was to see and feel the final ensemble.The textile selection and abundant hand beading on the gown inspired me to begin sketching. By fifth grade, I was selecting my own fabrics and design silhouettes for myself and now others. I have a strong interest in all aspects of design from ready to wear, couture, and costume design for films. Moving forward, I am continuing to immerse myself in anything that involves creativity.
