Case Closed

Music – Philadelphia

Four high school best friends formed Case Closed in May of 2010. Curt Beebe – Vocals/Guitar | Dave Schoettler - Guitar/Vocals | Dan Huesser - Bass | Phil Fasulo - Drums. After a few short months of recording, and demoing new material, buzz began to build around their distinctive indie-pop sound. In the fall of 2010, the band was featured on “Radio104.5’s Live at 5.” The feature helped to create more buzz, and raised the demand for their 3-song E.P. that would soon follow. The E.P., titled “This is Bad. That was Terrible,” was recorded with friend/mentor Nik Bruzzesse of Man Overboard (Rise Records), and was released November of 2010. The E.P. was a success among their new fans, and helped to create even more demand for the release of their upcoming debut album. Case Closed released their debut album entitled “Clouds” produced by Jesse Cannon (Cannon Found Soundation) in April of 2011. Their debut single, “Breathe Slow,” was received very well through Jango Internet radio. Additionally, their second single, “A Tribute to a Man and His Orange Juice,” caught the attention of numerous radio promotional professionals, one being Bill Jerome of Jerome Promotions who stated “It’s just a great song.” The band’s influences include Manchester Orchestra, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, The Early November, Saves The Day, and “pretty much everything else.” Plans are underway for a follow-up EP release entitled “Basements” to be distributed through Universal’s UMGD via Black Ink MMG/Bungalo Records.
