Photography – Cleveland
Probably the best phrase to describe me is \'creative visionary.\'
Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, as a child and on into high school, I performed on the stage as a dancer, always craving the next move, next step, next composition. Before turning 18, I learned how to design, edit and publish newspapers and discovered my love for the written word. Upon graduation from Ohio University and the Scripps School of Journalism in 2001, photography became second nature to my work as a journalist and later as an editor, media relations specialist and marketing director. Realizing my passion for still frames, I returned to school via the Toledo Museum of Art and Owens Community College to study film and development, digital photography and business, giving me the leverage I needed to take the plunge into my own business.
Today, being my own boss with C. Julia Photography, Inc., I find an unprecedented amount of peace and fulfillment in creating images for individuals, businesses and organizations that will serve them indefinitely in a way no other image can. There\'s nothing quite as exhilarating as seeing the look on a client\'s face when they view their images for the first time. It\'s what makes the work I do worthwhile.
Based in Cleveland (West Park) and founded in 2009, C. Julia Photography operates out of my home and includes a small basement studio. When I\'m not chasing my dream, I spend as much time with my nephew, Ray, and niece, Anna, as I can.
