Colleen Wilde

Colleen is an international bellydance artist, currently located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Colleen\'s love for dance has taken her all over the world studying, teaching, and performing. She has toured with prestigious companies like Bellydance Evolution, and spent time in intense study in Cairo, Egypt where she was personally asked to perform in the celebrated Ahlan Wa Sahlan festival. Before returning to the US in 2015, Colleen took her dance career abroad for 2 years in France, 4 years in South Korea, and spent all of 2014 touring internationally studying her art, teaching, and performing. Colleen currently teaches and performs in Pittsburgh, where she is committed to bringing fun, culturally relevant performances to the area. Colleen pursues post-graduate study in dance anthropology and hopes to see bellydance enter into academia as a legitimate degree path.
