Michael Benninghoven

My Name is Michael Benninghoven. I am 34 Years old and currently reside in Boulder Colorado. My work is generally an outlet of my feelings of pain, grief, lust, sorrow, frustration, desires and aspirations. Some times it is just a regurgitation of the imagery and messages that we are all constantly bombarded with from every corner of our lives. Mostly I piece my work together with layers of cut vinyl. A media I sort of fell into. I have been working with this medium for almost 9 years now but still find myself using it new ways and developing my style. I also work in oil, acrylic, aerosol, screen printing and sculpture.
