Cymatic Kicks

Cymatics: Also known as modal phenomena, is the study of visible sound and vibration. Kicks: n. A feeling of pleasurable stimulation. Live music and improvisation are a direct combination of these two words. Effects of live music are broad and far reaching, and the best live music is also both thought provoking and creates a positive change in those who experience it. Cymatic Kicks has been a long time musician and producer combining electronic music and electric guitar. The live show is new to 2012 combining a laptop, midi controllers, and live instrumentation. New to the semi-finals is the addition of a live drummer, Jimmy Sullivan.
