Visual Art – Portland
Hello! I am a self taught artist from Portland, Oregon. I have been drawing people with pencil from a very young age, but a lucky coincidence led me to the retrieval of a case of chalk pastel pencils in 2014, which amplified my passion for drawing. I now use these light-colored chalks to pull dramatic, realistic images out of matte black paper. I love experimenting with color, light, and texture to evoke emotion in all of my drawings and I especially enjoy the challenge of using dry media to depict liquid.
