Dressed in Black and Ready to Attack! Ottawa blues rock duo Dear Blackwolf are the ambassadors of a sound they call “Rumble”. Their mesmerizing live performances, meticulous image, and cohesive blend of Delta Blues, Roots and old Rock n Roll are making some serious noise across Central Canada. "This isn’t just your typical duo of rockers playing some soul-jangling blues." - OTTAWA SHOW BOX The Ottawa natives started playing together when singer-guitarist Joseph Perry returned to his hometown after a spell in Toronto. He met local drummer Arturo Portocarrero and they hit the ground running, releasing an EP, a full-length album, and a mini documentary about their recording process. Their music video for ‘Style’ was released through Noisey along with an interview for Daily Vice, respectively. Currently DBW are self producing a live video series, including 2 previously unreleased tracks. They've recruited engineer/record producer Jordon Zadorozny (Skylark Park) and film maker Christopher Eades (Captivate Them) to help capture the sonic and visual prowess of their live shows. The series entitled "Live at Skylark Park" will be released in 3 parts starting March 14th, 2016. With their first year behind them, Dear Blackwolf's plan for 2016 is to record new material and Rumble stages across Canada!
